@adamstgbit

Don't write a farewell post on bitcointalk. Write it here. Let others point to it.

For hard to understand reasons, you are the hero. Let the bicointalk population follow you over.

My Reddit post on xthin blocks got 100+ upvotes IIRC on /r/bitcoin and rose to the 2nd spot in 24 hours. At that point I edited the post to say that the work was done in the BitcoinUnlimited client. The post disappeared from the front page within 5 minutes.

@JayJuanGee What country did you grow up in? I'm not going "ad hominem" here in a negative or mean way -- I honestly wonder whether people who grow up in non-free or less-free countries can even recognise censorship when they see it. If so, Jay, it is something that you need to be aware of about yourself...

Forum moderators have the ability to move postings, etc. But they, and those who mediate other channels of social discourse, have a moral responsibility to NOT do so in a manner that attempts to influence public opinion.
I agree with your overall points in this post, yet I doubt that you are adding any value in your suggestion that somehow my previous posts are off in respect to the definition of what is censorship because I don't understand censorship and freedom because of some values from my upbringing in that i am used to and accept repression.. blah blah blah.. That not the case, and accordingly, your point of directing my upbringing makes little to no sense.

Not bad but I suggest you reread and clean up the typos. Also, I'm not sure calling out Lauda adds anything.
ya sorry for the typos.

calling out Lauda for being a core fan is somthing we can all relate to. he must of quoted everyone trying to make them believe >2MB blocks will mean a centralized bitcoin.

I have never heard of Lauda and I joined bitcointalk back in 2010. Regardless, by calling him (her) out you imply to anyone who might have ever agreed with him on one small point that people like them are not welcome here. We need to be open and accepting of all viewpoints if we want to build a true community here. I thought the whole idea was to avoid censorship, not to build our own echo chamber of dissent against the incumbent position.
