According to my post (7 weeks ago) there is not much time left to reach the ATH. The Bitfinex hack may have postponed the inevitable rise for some weeks. However I expect to see some huge volatility in the next days. Simply look at the tight BBands. Bottomed RSI. And a macroeconomic monster in the backyard.
@adamstgbit What do you think. ATH in September or October?
I dont think so....
there's to much FUD on the market right now to go to ATH levels
Altho i do have a very bright outlook for the future, i don't think we are close to any kind of massive move up.
BFX hack delayed the rise, but might acutely add fuel the the fire later, when they announce the the BFX token can be moved via OMNI layer people will begin to understand that altcoins are going to die, all that will be relevant in the future will be smart property on bitcoin's blockchain. ( whether OMNI or counter party or whatever else... point is altcoins are silly. smart property , enabled by a higher level protocol, build ONTOP of BITCOINS blockchain, is the future...)
"There can only be one" will find new meaning.
also, the BTCFork is scary to ALL but the most knowledgeable poeple. ( notice how we had JR-Luke commenting on BTCFork's consider it page ) I believe market will not move forward until that's settled.
it doesn't matter so much which direction the project takes ( Core Vs BTCFork ) what matters is this question is settled.
Once poeple beginning to understand how bitcoin protocol can be extended Via things like "OMNI layer" and that hard forks are not to be feared, and are infact the mechanism by which bitcoin is meant to evolve. then we'll see massive price movement in the right direction.
for now i would expect a stable price at undervalued levels, since most peer in and see " OMG coin XYZ is about to displace bitcoin, it will surely takeover given some time" and " OMFG bitcoin is about to fork into 2 different chains this will surely cuts bitcoin value in half "
these two massive price suppressing FUDs will soon be lifted... but like 6 months from now not next month.
[doublepost=1472580436][/doublepost]personally i want BU to win the war, they are much more democratic then cores totalitarian approach to governance.
core will become one of many Implementations that adhere the to every evolving protocol they will not dictate how it will evolve but merely make suggestions and provide code / binaries for users/miners to use in an attempt to get new BIP into the protocol.
[doublepost=1472580782,1472580143][/doublepost]what we need to build now is the infrastructure to allow this network "free will" (if that makes any sense...)
and i THINK thats what BTCFork is all about. and i like it.
