It's probably better to just let the house of cards fall and focus on building utility. I could see a younger Kevin Costner playing Craig in the film.

This BTC thing can go either way, Bitcoin to be a useful system for the transferring of vale needs to accommodate millions of transactions, put simply people need to be able to use it. There is one bitcoin that's optimizing for that type of scale, there is another that people are FOMOing into.

OMG there is a tidal wave of support unfolding https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/article-canada-approves-worlds-first-bitcoin-etf-for-retail-investors/

Canada printing money like it'll never need to pay it back, it's on the up and up again.

A practical interpretation of this type of government manipulating is forcing people into speculating on all sorts of things just to hedge the inflation risk. The Bottom line first-bitcoin-etf-for-retail-investors is probably going to see demand.

pump DOGE, pump BTC, the reality is the same: those coins cannot handle global throughput (though BTC does not pretend to vie for that anymore).

(a) neither chain can handle txn capacity on the order of the visa network (which will eventually be quaint);

(b) fee per txn increases too fast.

The exuberance in the valuation in the sustainability of BTC is the same as that in the stock market. It's driven by the same people because they think (know?) they can exit before everyone else. Not a conspiracy theory. Wall Street is just a viper's pit. Cryptokiddies are the new OWS that the big boys will laugh at from their office windows when they get rekt. This is why I prefer the tech they hate so much. Their hate is their tell.

😳 Binance Coin out of nowhere, competing with Etherium. According to this Binance coin (BNB trading for $376 today) was an ICO that raised $15M at a unit price of $0.15, and the other 50% used for PR.

And the crazy thing they issued 200M tokens and every 3 months Binance buys back BNB with the intent to destroys 100 million Binance coins – 50% of the total supply, so only the promoters end up with the issued coins.

So they raise $15,000,000 in an ICO and now have a $37,600,000,000 financial liability. WTF kind of space is this?

Binance has a competing token Binance USD, and it seems Euro is the only fiat currency fueling this massive clime in price.

To be clear, discussion here will not be confined to that of precious metals. It is meant to be multi-dimensional to discuss the important aspects of the day in Bitcoin world.
Do "the important aspects of the day in the Bitcoin world" include mentioning the fact that Bitcoin (the REAL, longest-valid-by-Namamoto-Concensus chain) now has a market cap of over ONE TRILLION DOLLARS and that BcashSV (a fake version of a fake version of the real Bitcoin) has fallen a couple of ranks below Monero in market cap?

Is this what you expected would happen when you went to war against against OG Cyberpunk Gods like Adam Back and Greg Maxwell, with only fools and clowns like Jihan Wu, Peter Rizun, Roger Ver, Craig Wright, and Calvin Ayre on your side?

Or has Bcash turned into the dumpster fire the Core people said it would since the beginning?

Pointing out someone is wrong is not a declaration of war. Most All rational Bitcoiners who were into bitcoin before Adam Back arrived on the sean paid less than $1000. Adam Back is a laggard.

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is
