I wonder how many people listened to the recent Craig Wright podcast where he bragged about his history of working with people in the intelligence services.

And today I read these posts which I missed during those days in 2015

"I want my brother out of jail and his record to disappear for starters."

Wow, if that mail is genuine then Belle must believe CSW to have quite some extraordinary powers!
Making criminal records disappear? That's a big ask (demand?).
She must know something about CSW that we might only suspect.

again, it's not about CSW. like I said, I'm back to 50:50 that he IS a fraud. right now, it should just be about existing code and a future vision of unlimited blocksize.

so, are there any questions left that @freetrader believes in a dev centric Bitcoin, where non mining full nodes hold sway, and anarchy and anonymity are held paramount?

Yeah, actually there are many questions left why you would misrepresent my views in this way.

And thanks for freetrader to keep opposition to us bsv guys after all other bch people left this thread.

Interesting find, BTW, the bitcoin Belle part of this story is quite interesting.

Option 4: The e-mail is real and he copy-pasted it and sent it to himself two years later as a matter of expediency so that he could convert it into a PDF to be used as documentation for who-knows-what (some bullshit bank account/corporate registry red-tape, maybe?)
On a completely unrelated matter, anyone remember this lass?

the courts will decide if this, and other documents provided are sufficient?
Prediction: The courts will not rule on the question of CSW's identity as Satoshi and his supporters will take him not being thrown in a deep dark hole as incontrovertible evidence of this being fact (Not really a stretch there as many will even take opposing evidence as support because "4D chess")

Wow, just in time /s

Could he have come back as a developer before that, to offer a hard fork that Satoshi recommended?
It seems not.
How about if he'd actually signed something publicly, just after he'd embarked on wrecking Gavin's reputation (and any influence he had remaining with Core) and before all the Segwit/S2X/fork stuff happened? How about if, as anonymous Satoshi, he'd slipped the postdated block size increase as he'd mentioned in 2010 into the code on github?

Core supporters assasinated gavin andresens character, and if you think it was craig wright, you bought into it too richy
[doublepost=1556828005][/doublepost]... and if I steal your key and sign with it... does it prove i am you?

One thing I got wrong in the post: in fact, blocksize isn't even part of the protocol. 1MB cap doesn't stop a tx from being mined (eventually). Removing the cap doesn't break wallets or other infrastructure (remember, node=miner), just means a few miners cannot follow (and good riddance).

Miners chose to kowtow to Core and only mine 1MB blocks; that was never anything other than their own problem. If the majority had started mining bigger blocks, SPV wallets would have followed right along. The idea that those hashless wonders Core calls "nodes" matter is the silliness that drove all this, the idea being that you'd be breaking the poor "nodes" that "govern Bitcoin."
Absolutely. This was the purpose of BU, after all.

How about you understand the pros and cons of signing?
How about you understand the mental gymnastics you're going through to justify the lack of signing.

I mean sure, the person who pulls the trigger is the one culpable but what about the person who hands them the gun?

BU as an organization is changing. At some point, something has to give.

Next time after the votes this month, we will vote on if BU will support the BCH altcoin branch.

Its a long game. But not that long. Just months, a few years.

OMG, you are hopeless. i'm not surprised you'd be enamored with a con woman. i remember back in ~2015 i think, looking extensively into her history b/c it intrigued me as to how a nobody woman could have ANY info on CSW. this is just a sampling of what i found, no surprise:

To me, it's very simple. SN didn't want to be public, but was outed and extorted. And the protocol became a football in a powerplay.

Now, he's back as quarterback to reach the goal where there's no quarterback.

Yeah, especially since he's basically been called a traitor and a many other things.
note how he's never denied it

i think he should sign. and not just the genesis block but a sampling of the first 10 blocks. he supposedly did it for Gavin and Matonis, so why not the BSV community?
