In reading Satoshi's Vision, it seems clear he had a lot of help. He repeatedly called Dave his partner and also alludes to unnamed people. Conner, in a recent YouTube debate referenced Satoshi as "she." Freudian slip? I've long suspected a woman having a major influence on its development. I am sure he has always been the drive behind its development. It uses a kitchen-sink approach of throwing in every idea that might work in the future, which suggests team input. His defensive posturing in writing and conversation suggests he is still protecting a secret. But so what? Nobody else on his team has come forward. Allow them their privacy. Let's just hope they can save the original Bitcoin before the patents expire.

Bitcoin is both a protocol and a unit of account. The unit of account can be replaced with fiat second-layer tokens. Bitcoins themselves can be made illegal to trade, yet the Bitcoin protocol remains intact. Even miners will have to forfeit their bitcoins in trade for fiat tokens in their bailiwicks. This is why hodl is risky. Hopefully, governments will give you a fair token exchange rate for your satoshis. This is why I have been adamantly against making it easy to make second-layer tokens like BCH did and nChain claims is possible.

It seems to be happening; BCH people maybe self selected/seperated to the point where I cant see much anymore but what I do see is a slow death.

Their narrative has been fucked in the wider scene and Rizun/Ver strike me as doing too little and too late.

If its Amaurys ship it is definitively sinking...

Amaury's ShitCoin, sorry BitCoin, is amazing reality TV. Every other day he adds an episode to the soap opera, takes out his bazooka, and blows away another long-time supporter. The most recent patsy was Emil Oldenburg.

Soon he'll be the only man standing, and it will really be Amaury's BitCoin.

Anyone for sweepstakes on who's next? Will it be Mark Blunderberg, our very own Mengerian, or Jason Cox? Tune in next week to find out!

Small? Tether is not that small. It's 2% of the amount printed by the fed in that video. All going into crypto exchanges.

yeah, Tether isn't anything to sneeze at but the real game has all along been what's happening with the almighty USD. watch the Fed.

Yes, I agree long term. Tether is a short term thing. And I don't worry too much about tether bursting, because I also expect an influx to BSV from the whole shitcoin market.
