### Announcing the next BU Vote: December 7th ###

Bitcoin Unlimited members are advised that the next vote on BUIPs will be open for 5 calendar days in the window December 7-11, 2017.

The close-off date for new BUIPs is November 22nd to allow the minimum two-week period for membership debate.
Proposers of exisiting draft BUIPs are welcome to advise that their BUIP is ready for membership vote.

The BUIPs for vote will comprise:

• Development and/or Operational BUIPs
• New Members BUIP

Note: The vote recording and counting system on the BU website will be used.
A "### VOTE ###" thread will be created on December 6th however, this will redirect members to the voting page on the website. The vote thread will only be for Q&A and comments about the vote process.

And can someone please reassure me that github is not scary, it looks so technical can non programmers create accounts and make posts?

Should discussion of BUIP's happen on github of in a nice warm GUI. I don't want to hunt around to get opinions, ideally just read the one source.

I would say it is scary for non programmers. I'm computer savvy and can code a little but Github is not the easiest interface for me.

I think for non programmers we need to keep this forum where all BUIPs can be discussed.

Yes, there is an ad-hoc db locking prob which seems to have got worse. Anyway, it's being worked on.
