FYI, the Pangea Poker link references a "release in May/June" that was actually written more than a year ago. I thought at first that it was an upcoming date, but I was mistaken.

long story, unexpected external issues created delays, but the fundamental algo was working at alpha level last year

I remember the following issues:
-Crypto bear market hit just after the end of the ico
-400 Btc lost from Bter hack
-Never enough developers and testers to help James
-Nxt developers broke the api for the first time
-Auxiliary projects like Atomic stalled for their own reasons
-GUI dev disappeared
-Nxt developers broke the api for the second time
James can probably add others instances. Yet all the extra work seems to have made SuperNet even better than initially envisioned
