If I may, I'm a new member and I don't think I or any new member should vote. It is clear that such organization will be subject to tentative of hijacking, and making sure that people stick around and are trustable before giving them any power. That would disincentivize power seeking individual, but shouldn't bother other newcomers.

I'm voting for this because I think most of the ideas are good and there is already some momentum behind it; however, I'd like to see much more work on the website done (which can be proposed in a future BUIP).

In my opinion, the website is the "public face" of Bitcoin Unlimited, and the first impression it makes on potential new bitcoin users is important. I think it would be reasonable to spend even $20k - $30k to get it up to par and implement things like a built-in voting system.

I think the present Bitcoin Unlimited site was exactly what was needed last winter; it brought attention to Satoshi's own thoughts on how the block size limit could be raised, and stressed his vision for bitcoin as a global peer-to-peer cash system.

But now with Bitcoin Unlimited become more mainstream, I think we need to tone done this rhetoric to make the website more neutral. I'd also like to replace long text explanations in favour of simple visual ones (with links to videos/paper/etc), remove dead links (we have a "News" section that has never been updated), and organize and present the information more neatly.

Perhaps a follow-up proposal could include a "mock-up" of what a potential brand-new website could look like.
