A little secret is that most of the day-to-day "think tank" discussion on this forum takes place in the thread "Gold Collapsing. Bitcoin UP." in the Economics and Policy sub-forum. Almost regardless of topic. It's partly due to tradition, partly the fact that a lot of people here think Bitcoin is Gold 2.0 (as the money of civilization, not exclusively as a "settlement layer" like how Core wants it), and partly that many here see investment and the market process (including price) as intimately connected with development, governance, and really everything in the space.
