Pooler CPU Miner (Increasing Number of Threads)

Dear Members,

We are using Pooler CPU Miner for Bitcoin mining. We have observed that we can improve the hash rate effectively by increasing the number of threads like below:

number of threads = 100 * number of processors
number of threads = 500 * number of processors
number of threads = 1000 * number of processors

We need to ask is there any drawback in increasing the hash rate this way while using the Pooler CPU Miner.
