Merging loses "likes"

Hi!
I just discovered that when I post two or more messages in a row the board merges them in a single one, this is nice.

Anyway there is a little problem: if I post message A and some people press "like" on it, and then I post message B and the board merges A and B, I lose the likes.

I understand this is a petty problem, but can we consider it a bug?

Not a bug. Use the edit function instead of double posting.

Anyway I still consider this a bug

this is a bug in my view as well
someone once liked one of my post, then i posted again ( a completely different thing ) and then it looked like he liked that new post.

IMO admins should just remove the double post thingy
