I think 2-4-8 is too small - even with other scaling solutions. I strongly prefer BIP101.

2. Patches

I personally prefer a Bitcoin XT-based build.

3. Community

I don't think people who are openly doing illegal drugs should be listed on a project page

I signed up for bitcoinclassic.consider.it, but I think only verified user votes should be taken serious. There are some accounts with random letter names that could be sockpuppets.

XT is dead, and the momentum is now with Classic. The lastest on Slack is that it will be based on 0.11.2 with a clean patch to 2 MB only. The devs do not want to have to deal with SegWit and RBF in 0.12 at this time. The goal seems to be to get the client available for download as soon as possible with nothing the miners object to.
