I think 2-4-8 is too small - even with other scaling solutions. I strongly prefer BIP101.

I personally prefer a Bitcoin XT-based build.

It's nearly nowhere in the world prohibited to be stoned. In whole Europa I think only possessment of bigger portions (>5g) and their sell is prohibited.

But I got the point - it's was not the best advertising effect.

XT is dead, and the momentum is now with Classic. The lastest on Slack is that it will be based on 0.11.2 with a clean patch to 2 MB only. The devs do not want to have to deal with SegWit and RBF in 0.12 at this time. The goal seems to be to get the client available for download as soon as possible with nothing the miners object to.
