How the price of a new "fork" is calculated?

Hi

After bitcoin cash we have bitcoin gold...i was wondering how the price of those new cryptocurrency is calculate.
Why the value of these fork aren't few dollars but hundreds? Who's pushing the price up even before their existence.

Market calculates it.

Right now its at $500? That means, that there is nobody on the market, that would be willing to sell it for $499. And it also means, that there are people, who are willing to buy it for 500$.

If some guy comes, who is willing to sell it for $400, its price will be $400. If nobody is willing to buy it at $500, some guys will change their minds and will sell it for $400.
