Easy sharing on Facebook, Twitter etc.

I cannot find any buttons to easily share bitco.in forum threads on Facebook, Twitter etc.

I think it would make it a lot easier getting the word out about Bitcoin Unlimited if there were some easy sharing options on this website.

Can someone help setting that up?

That's not difficult to accomplish, but those social share buttons do add extra javascript plus three extra calls to external servers (Facebook, Google, and Twitter) on each page load. It's a balancing act of sacrificing a bit of performance to gain easier sharing. Might be easier to copy and paste the thread's URL into your social media window, but I do understand the appeal of easy sharing.

If there are others who believe we should have those buttons, please sound off here.

how about a little bit of javascript that eliminates those buttons until you click a "share" button and then it injects them into the DOM?

You don't need javascript if you make your own buttons. Just link them like that:

• Facebook
• Twitter
