>Not sure how Bitcointalk deals with it, but they are actually in the business of selling spam, so maybe they actually like it!

That implies the spammed links aren't removed on bitcointalk. Though I'm yet to see one. Come to think of it, I'm yet to see more than an occasional untargeted spam post on any forum I browse with TOR. Plenty of spam, sure, but not the stuff you describe.

You sure this isn't another totally real and pressing problem, like blockchain spam?

Again, I have no idea how they deal with spam. They do have a huge army of moderators and could be deleting it manually for all we know. But they do keep some of the stuff, like "Double your bitcoins fast" or "I'm a homeless mother of hungry children, please send BCT," which we remove on the daily basis.

Not to belabor the point (well, OK, I lie -- to belabor it), not the untargeted Viagra via TOR stuff you talked about. And clearly blacklisting TOR doesn't do much, since "we remove on the daily basis."

Bitcoin is currently on the fringes of legality, and, as Cconvert2G36 pointed out, many are hesitant to leave a paper trail that could be readily linked to IRL identities. Most, of course, are batshit paranoiacs, but that doesn't preclude them from being fun to read/contributing to the forum.

But again, just an opinion. Whatever works for you.
