Hi all I thought this BIP would be interesting to you all. This was originally submitted to Core but was rejected. Once I find some downtime I'll be working on the BIP200 miner clients and release them.

BIP200 - Mandatory de-activation of forced segwit deployment (bip200.com).

Abstract
This BIP supercedes BIP148 and outlines the methods and actions necessary to prevent unwanted network segmentation and forced isolation caused by non-consensual BIP148 and Segregated Witness deployment.

Do I understand this BIP correct that it is about lying about ones commitment to BIP148?

I don't know if a mining pool would want to do that. It could brand the pool as a liar, cause irreversible damage and lost trust in it.
