Surely it would be fair for wikipedia readers and bitcoin newcomers to be aware of bitcoin censorship happening in Venezuela, Russia among other countries and "r/bitcoin", "bitcointalk.org" social networking sites.

Most people are probably not reading the entire article. I think you could mention national censorship (Russia, Venezuela) in the article Legality of Bitcoin by country.

AFAIK there's currently no Bitcoin suppression in Russia, but they had Bitcoin-related websites blocked for a while and a draft for a law exists that would make it illegal to use Bitcoin.

I don't think the theymos communities are relevant for this article, but you can inform a few others if you sign up and leave comment & rating on WOT (it's domain based so it doesn't work for the subreddit, but BCT and the Wiki)
