Why would someone use crypto for online transactions as opposed to a simpler paypal?

As much as I advocate for the decentralized, private nature of cryptocurrencies, there is something that still bothers me.

Why would anyone rather use bitcoin or crypto as opposed to another money sending service such as paypal? Its a lot simpler and quicker, plus more efficient.

Just though the Bitcoin forum community could contribute some thoughts and opinions.

This is a very good and a fascinating question. I believe digital currency/cryptocurrency will be the future of all financial transactions. You can use these digital currencies as oppose to paypal if you think that the market of that currency will fall in the future.
