Please get involved. Bitcoin Unlimited is the start of a new paradigm where the membership decides on the admission of new members and operational changes requiring expenditure of funds.

Might be nice if we could set up some sort of automated membership 'call to vote'. The standard 5 day period is quite a short timeframe, so membership turnout may begin to suffer?

This vote isn't signed yet, partly because I don't have a public key posted anywhere. Are we just signing with any private key we want? What's the system here? (sorry for the rookie question, I'm sure it's explained somwhere already)

@chriswilmer: ideally, you're supposed to sign with a private key for a bitcoin address that you've already associated with your identity in some way. Eventually, we will require new members to specify their "signing address" when they join. We'll also post all of the members' signing address to the Bitcoin Unlimited website shortly.

If you don't have any address that's already associated with your identity that you'd like to use, just make up a new one now and use that going forward.

  1. you've read and comprehend the Bitcoin Unlimited: Articles of Federation
  2. can give some critical feedback on
    1. one principal you mostly agree with and why
    2. one principal you think can be improved on and why
  3. and an appropriate (and original) screening question to ask new applicants to prevent introducing bad apples to the membership.
