Is there a way that I can retrieve my bitcoins that I sent and the party I sent to never spent them. My transition is just sitting there and I don’t know if I sent them to the right address. It’s like they are just there

The only way you could get that bitcoin back would be if you have the private key to the wallet where it was sent or to get the person who controls that bitcoin to send it back to you or give you the private key... so the simple answer is no, there is no way to get that bitcoin back.
