I have a general question about keys and wallet.
My understanding so far was that I generate a private and public key e.g. at https://www.bitaddress.org/.
In the next step I download a bitcoin wallet (I know,in some cases a cold wallet makes more sense) and import both the private and public key to receive and send bitcoins.
So I installed on my Android systen several apps such as "Bitcoin Wallet", "Blockchain Luxembourg S.A" or "BRD". But in none of these wallet apps I found a way to import my keys.
Am I doing someting wrong?
