Not receiving bitcoins on bitcoin classic desktop app

PLEASE HELP. I purchased bitcoins on 'coinbase' and sent them to my address on my 'bitcoin classic wallet' desktop app and nothing it happened. I requested a payment and used the address it gave me on the 'coinbase' site... Please someone tell me how to confirm this pamyent?

First of all, are you talking about "Bitcoin Classic"? Maybe you could give me a link for where you downloaded this program. Because I have not heard of "Bitcoin Classic Wallet" before?

Secondly if you did do a Bitcoin transaction then you should be able to see that transaction on the blockchain. If you reveal your public key or transaction number then I can take a look for you if you would like. As long as you send it to the right address, Bitcoin can never be lost, it will either be back in your original wallet or in the address you have sent it to.

If anyone is wondering this issue has been resolved, just a matter of waiting for the wallet to sync now.
