Non payment of Bitcoin payout

I have a joint investment for the past year which has now been completed, payout was supposed to been paid on the Oct 8th! This hasn't happened? Why not? I have names of people whom I've received email correspondence from I will not hesitate to name shame the company responsible on social media. I /we expect a satisfactory outcome from this we've invested our hard earned income on this and it's has been very stressful at times..
