dApp development is gaining popularity

I've noticed that dapps become more and more popular with developers, in spite of the fact that dapp development is more challenging than traditional app development, as you have to test everything thoroughly (for example, some bug in smart contracts can crash the whole dapp, when a traditional app will continue working, although with some problems).

Some experts say that dapp development is closer to hardware development than to software development because there's no centralized server to run dapp, but rather a decentralized peer-to-peer network.
