Hi there.Could there be a chance that in near future there will be one good thing about privacy of bitcoin.
I.E - instead of showing full details.
There should be option "On Demand" for sender - i.e at blkchain or tradeblock there would be not full transaction details but rather crypted or "shorted" like 1Abc....
It should be preference of sender only!
If only it was possible without hacks. Think some one is working on such things like for big corps.
So let Bitcoin Unlimited will be faster to adopt changes and shakes of dirty waves of corrupt headaches!
Anyone with fair tech options welcome.
Hope even not in bitcoin then in IoT protocls there would be such option even based on base64 encryption or javascript, whenewhere.
Its my idea of future of bitcoin unlimited. Made that can be for reason - for those who trust i can "secret transaction" and for public eyes i can show the chain.
Regards
Nick

P.S giving you a tip - such thing can be created like a tweetglide client for twitter, created by famous marketer Mike T.Glaspie - when user installs tweetglide - he have ability to send more then 140 words. TweetGlide users see full message, and web users see 140 characters with headline "written with tweetglide, install to see more".
Somehow like that.

Your identity is already obsfuscated by your address. Some changes could be made to make this work better by discouraging address reuse, hiding change, etc.

Hiding the transaction details would be extremely difficult to do within the current Blockchain since they are needed to verify that nobody printed themselves free money. However, there's a proposed crypto system called "mimblewimble" that would capture your requirements I think. Someday it may be possible via a hard fork to allow a MimbleWimble chain to exist alongside the Bitcoin blockchain and use Bitcoins as its currency.

But given how hard we are finding it to make a much simpler change, this is a tall order.

Designing wallets that incorporate mixing with coinjoin and stealth addresses might be a good initial step in building more robust privacy in the ecosystem.

Hi all.Well windowly i don't use mixers and so on.If needed privacy i better convert to alt coins and move further.
Thezerg - i found something about Mimblewimble - its harry potter thing.Here - http://www.coindesk.com/coders-harry-potter-bitcoin-mimblewimble/
Well my opinion they will create kinda "game bitcoins"
For to create strong system and support secure environment - there need to be lot of money.
Thought anoncoin tried to it by itself - but they know in time of fbi world influence their operations will be halted and hardware shutdowned.
So idea is to create some protection - that unavaible from human eyes.
Not controlled and not restricted.
Especially from man in the middle attacks from which suffers bitcoin when you use tor network - Had happened few times transactions were delayed at bitgo.
Meaning they are not protected from fbi, cia, nsa hands.
