Any chance of a P2P Lending forum?

There doesn't seem to be any decent independent Bitcoin P2P lending forum that I've seen. It's strongly needed, especially for BTCjam where discussion on general issues always ends up happening on individual listings (far from ideal).

Any chance we could set one up here?

If there's demand, we'll consider it, although it might be difficult to moderate something like that.

I think a forum is not suitable for lending, gambling or any type of commerce. Just look at all the drama in BCT.

A reputation system that isn't linked to your real identity is fundamentally flawed since you can easily buy and sell simple forum accounts.

A forum for "Service Discussion" would be better IMO.

I'm not talking about actually doing lending on the forums, just talking about meta issues around the P2P lending sites, strategy for avoiding scammers etc.

It's just something that's lacking currently and bitco.in could maybe fill the gap.

This could be discussed in a "Service Discussion" thread.

Almost nobody will share their strategies for avoiding scammers in public, because it also tells scammers how to bypass their strategies.
