Boosteroid Starts Building Data Center in Georgia

Dear friends, we are glad to share that tomorrow we start building new Boosteroid data center of 20 thousand m2. in Georgia free industrial zone — the city of Kutaisi.

The agreement with the government to locate computing facilities and connect them to local power grid was reached yet in October and November, 2017. And now we are implementing our plans.

“We do have to build data centers close to our clients if we want our service to operate worldwide. Georgia is a great place to cover the part of Eastern Europe and Turkey, Iceland will provide our services for Western Europe, Ukraine for Eastern Europe, Arab Emirates for Middle East and so on. We are looking much further and Georgian data center is only a beginning” — project CEO Ivan Shvaichenko.
