Android input issues

I'm having some issues with input in posts:

- Cannot link in text (link appears at beginning of post instead)

- None of the font effects work (they show up fine in other users' posts)

- Smilies now seem to work (used to appear at the beginning of post instead)

Galaxy S5, Android version 5.0, installed latest update yesterday

OK, I remember this now. Tested a couple of things here, they do seem to work. Do you think it's your long presses (when selecting words) that may not be working correctly?

Long presses seem to work normally at first, but when I click the link button the cursor moves to the start of the post.

@Zangelbert Bingledack just for the sake of reproducibility which kind of browser are you using? That said if you're using the one that came bundled with the os, try to give it chrome a try.

Another thing to take into account is that samsung's andorid is quite tailored and differs from plain android (latest version is 6.0).

Was using the stock browser. Trying with Chrome.

I could have sworn the old browser was taken out of Android like two versions ago. Glad you were able to resolve it. Thanks @sickpig!
