Canary page for bitco.in forum/domain?

@Bloomie How about a canary page to signal government requests for information?

edit: it just crossed my mind that maybe you've already something in place or maybe you think it's not worthy.

Well, I hope we don't get any requests, and that's one reason I am hesitant to have a marketplace subforum, to avoid attracting shady characters to the site.

well I don't think that the only source for government "interventions" are scams or alike shady cons , just saying. but I do agree, If I were in your shoes I wouldn't add a marketplace subforum

Secret subpoenas are rare and if you receive a request of this type and you use a warrant canary you might get in trouble.

That said I've zero expertise on that matter and I don't know if triggering the canary is legal or not, though.

edit: it seems that if set properly a warrant canary (i.e. passive activation) is legal in the US, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warrant_canary
