Is Engagement More Important than Views?

I keep hearing mixed advice—some say engagement (likes, comments) is what matters most, while others say views are the key to getting on the For You Page. If my videos aren’t getting views, does it even matter how good my engagement rate is?

Both engagement and views are important, but views come first—because without views, no one is around to engage with your content! TikTok’s algorithm prioritizes videos that gain traction quickly, and the easiest way to make that happen is by boosting your initial views. Once your video has views, you’ll naturally start seeing more likes, comments, and shares. A lot of creators jumpstart their engagement by increasing their views first, and I’ve heard great things about buy tiktok views. If you’re struggling to get noticed, this could be the push you need to get on more For You Pages and grow your account!

That makes a lot of sense! I always focus on getting likes and comments, but you’re right—if no one sees the video in the first place, engagement doesn’t even matter. I’ve been searching for ways to get more eyes on my content, and this seems like a great strategy. I’ll definitely try it out and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for sharing your experience!
